OH HA HA HA, I WAS SUCH A NICE GUY SO I GAVE YOU ALL EXTENSIONS ON YOUR CRACK WEEK ENTRIES HAHAHA. So yeah, Crack Week is over, 18 days too late. Whatever. I'll extend the due date for contest entries a liiiittle longer, so upload 'em to your account and submit 'em!

However, ~Touta-Matsuda joins our ranks, and Mido is coming soon (the hot Yotsuba group member, just FYI).

Our next big event will be... Sayu Note! Sayu gets her hands on the Death Note. HIJINKS HIJINKS HIJINKS. After Light and I discuss the details, I'll let you know the exact date it'll start.

News From ~Yagami---Light

HEY, DOWN HERE. LOOKIT ME. Tuesday, September 1^st is the beginning of Crack Month/Week/Year/Millennium. We are going to have a brief rundown chat session in our rarely ever used chat room at 6:30 PM Eastern/5:30 PM Central. There I (Or Ducky) will announce what will be going on this month followed by a big group event where the pairings are announced on Friday, September 4^th. Here is the always needed timezone converter <3: [link] Be there or be square!

We have a lot of spots open, so anyone who is interested, please don't hesitate to send an application.

Please remember to make a journal update every once in a while and to make one when you join. OKAY? PLEASE DO THIS.

How to join
1. Choose a character from the “remaining characters” list (below).
2. Send us a note (please type a subject like this: "Application: Light Yagami", it will help us to categorize the notes) filling out the form below:

a) Which character do you want?:
b) Why do you want to role-play as this character?:
c) Do you really think that you can role-play this character?:
d) Show us(please write a monologue (it should be a paragraph, meaning 4 or 5 lines at least), any subject will be accepted):
e) How many times a week you think you could check your comments?:
f) Do you agree with the rules? (Yes/No):
g) Do you have any ideas concerning the character you wish to role-play as?:

3. Please do not create an account before receiving the note telling that you’re in.
4. Once you’re in, don’t forget to submit an introduction journal. Remaining confidential or mentioning your regular account is up to you.
5. Please do not make your activity invisible.
6. After everything is ready, the club will add you to the character list and you'll get your icon at this point.
7. ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN SCRIPT FORMAT, LIKE SO:

How to Join as an OC

c) Show us (please write a monologue (it should be a paragraph, meaning 4 or 5 lines at least), any subject will be accepted):
d) How many times a week you think you could check your comments?:
e) Do you agree with the rules? (Yes/No):
f) Do you have any ideas concerning the character you wish to role-play as?:

2. Once you’re in, don’t forget to submit an introduction journal. Remaining confidential or mentioning your regular account is up to you.
3. Please do not make your activity invisible.
4. After everything is ready, the club will add you to the character list. You have the choice to provide your own icon or ask the RP for assistance.

Rules

1.You should stay in character to give characters more realistic aura.
2. Only official pairings are allowed! You can mention the others but please don’t let it be too obvious.
3. Keep the accounts active! Let’s say, how does “at least twice a week” sound?
4. If you’re going on a hiatus, please inform people by mentioning it in your journal. Don’t forget to tell how long you will be gone.
5. Be creative! Your character may be dead, but you should know enough about them and you can make up their personalities.
6. Please be nice to others, don’t use slang.
7. Having more than 2 accounts is unfair. Give other fans a chance! You can role-play up to two characters, just don’t choose close characters.
8. Please do not make your activity invisible.

Rules for OCs

1.You should stay in character to give characters more realistic aura.
2. Pairing between OCs and canon characters are NOT allowed. Please, an OC can have feelings for a canon character, but there can't be an actual pairing. Pairings between other OCs is allowed as long as the other OC rper agrees with it.

5. Please, no Mary-Sues, god-modders, etc. Mary-Sues become boring, and god-modding is like playing pretend Pokémon with five-year-olds, just plain annoying.

Helpful Role Playing Reminders:
_{Helpful little things everyone needs to be reminded every once in a while. We all forget sometimes, I know I do.}

When someone joins, watch that new person, and try to make contact with them. (Its okay if you don't if its two characters that wouldn't ever see each other. Like, for example, its a shinigami and Lind L. Tailor. In no way would they ever talk, since Tailor would need to touch a note and not be dead, but it would be nice to watch them anyways. You may never know when something important happens)

Similarly to someone new who has joined, watch all the members of the RP and make contact with a few of them. That might remind the other members that you're there,too.

We all know that when you are going on hiatus, you send a note or put up a journal, but I'd like to remind everyone that when they come back from hiatus, they send another note, or put up a return journal. It keeps the whole thing nice and organized.
